SGW Psychology and Consultancy

SGW Psychology provides consultation, training, and supervision services to an array of public and community organisations in the fields of mental health, counselling, youth work, and alcohol and other drug services.

I have had a long career working with children and young people in the child welfare, homelessness, youth justice and mental health systems with extensive industry experience.  I was a youth work practitioner for 15 years, then trained as a Registered Psychologist before becoming Principal Psychologist of SGW Psychology.

I have completed a Master’s Degree at Edith Cowan University Perth. This thesis dissertation identified the struggles homeless youth experience in attempting to get an education in Western Australia. The findings of my research are now delivered to the youth and community work sector and published in a variety of forums.
